He will still be remembered for the initial response to the 9-11 attacks. Even mediocre Presidents have good things mentioned about them by historians (sorry, I con't consider Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity to be historians).

I concur with Mr. Nice Guy. Unfortunately, our President began the office with fireworks and all the people rallying, but like many presidents and other political folks, when they get in office, the promises they made are railroaded because the people tire and bore easily of false promises and knee-jerk political issues that pull us into issues with other countries that are not ours.
