Nobody ever gets everything that they want.. Sorry to say... Thats why your mother told you "no" when you wanted more *sugar* than she thought you should have. Life lessons prove this over and over. I want to be rich and live well to do, but my family couldn't provide me with much help. My life is a slow going process. And just when I think I have enough saved for that special material item I want. What happens now? well yeah, car repairs, so To answer your question, I have a good life for what I can afford. And I try to make it fun no matter what. I have a wonderful husband and we help eachother reach our goals, which is the most satisfying feeling when we meet them. Hope this helps you figure out your shallow, but interesting question(s) So are you a Genius? If so, then answer your own question, or get lost..... What goes around always comes around, no matter what you've been taught....

How do you measure a "good life"? I think it's how you feel. It's not how your friends or some strangers would answer that but how you would answer the question.
If we want things then what we really want are the feelings we get when we have those things. If we want a happy family then what we really want are the feelings we think the happy family will create for us.
The sooner we realize that we are the ones that create those feelings that we want the sooner we'll get what we want. The sooner we'll have a "good life".

My life is decent. It could be better, and it could be worse. Right now there are some things that I would like but I do not have. I also do not see how this question proves you are a genius or not. At least I can spell.

I get what I need and what I want. I don't mean to pride in this but life is about survival and these are things that must get done. I have a great life, I hope the same is true in your case.

if every one had the philosphy of, " I want when I want it and I want it now" will only open our jails and prison to more losers than it has cells to hold.
There is a big difference between the WANT and a NEED. My needs are met and the wants are given as can be afforded. I have an excellent life and fortunately for me I have my needs and wants met on equal status.

I have a good life.
I get what I want after I work hard enough to earn it, and that's the way I like it.
I could never accept something for free without feeling in debt to the person.

Getting what you want is all about perspective. Material things are, ultimately, never "what we want".
I have a good life, and to quote the Rolling Stones...."you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you just might find, you get what you need."
