Is "Site Build It" a good tool to use to build your own website?

Hmm .. depends on what you want.
I'm doing websites for a long time and to be honest with you .. the best product I encounter until now was Adobe GoLive + some basic knowledge of HTML.

I have done extensve research n Site Build It and have found it to be a reputable company. They have lots of great ideas for getting your site noticed, getting that Alexa number low. The price doesn't seem outrageous either.
Make sure they follow through with all they promise. Are they counseling you on your site? Unlimited bandwidth seems the exception in the hosting world. Make sure you get all the e-books they offer, I am sure they will help.

how did you come to know about it? if you havent used it, review a few products before buying one. check on www.download.com or www.zdnet.com and lots of other sites that offers free download (trial). it also depend on how serious your web will be. people prefer one tool to another for some reason. is your web going to be static? needs lots of data or need good graphical tools? do you know html, vbscript, etc? does it have to run on windows or linux.

safest bet would be to ask what other application you use mostly/most often that will go to the web? for example, if you use a lot of microsoft office for materials on your web...then perhaps microsoft front page would be much practical. but if your website involve lots of graphics, and you use adobe rpducts, then find adobe's web solutions... etc...

Haven't heard of it. Try web builder, a free prog. It's good, for the basics and then get in and dig around in the html. Or just leave it. Or just use Microsoft Word and save as a webpage.

All have their probs, but if it needs taken further then start digging in the html.
