To answer the second question first: to truly BE God, He cannot have been created. He MUST be eternal, without beginning, without end.
Why do I believe in Him?
A) Read St. Thomas Aquinas arguments (ontological, teleological, etc.) for the existence of God. You will find them in the first volume of his Summa Theologica.
B) I am a degreed theologian, a degreed anthropologist, and a degreed geologist (admittedly only a Masters in geology).
C) The ONLY alternate explanation to creation by God is random chance and mathmatically random chance is insufficient to explain the phenomenon of random chance. If it cannot even explain itself how can it possibly explain creation? Not logical.
D) From personal observation I have witnessed people and events profoundly altered by faith in ways that modern science cannot even begin to explain. Though I do NOT take these as prima facie evidence of the existence of God, I DO accept them as superior evidence of what kind of Deity He IS.
E) As a theologian and a scientifically trained individual I am more aware then most of HOW the universe, and man, really works. I understand the "problem" of good and evil. For me, there is no problem.
F) Scripture says that God has written His law upon our hearts. Perhaps our cultural choices reflect that. We DO tend to prefer a society that operates under the law, rather than an anarchic approach to communal life.
G) My body and brain chemistry being the fount of emotions present no problem to faith either. When you're dealing with a being both material and spiritual there of necessity MUST be a way to link the two disparate elements. Perhaps enzymes, pheromones, and chemical components are the means by which God accomplishes this delicate task.
H) In the end, though, it is faith that rules. Knowledge can take one only so far, and if you use it for your journey you will find that the more you know about creation at all levels and in every aspect of its being, the closer you can come to God. But it is ultimately a "leap of faith" that will carry you into His Presence. And then only if you really want to go there. I went. I liked. I stay.

There was energy and then that energy became aware of itself and gained consciousness. For the experience of learning and growing it branched out and took different forms. I believe all things are made of energy and that energy is God. In every interaction there is something to learn. lets look at the life of a leaf. It comes into being and then it is blown in the wind. Insects crawl over it. It also will rub against other leafs. In the life of a leaf there are many interactions. From the birth to the death. Imagine how many leaves are in this world. If God learns from every leaf and it's unique experience then God is still becoming. Now imagine if you can every living thing and how many different interactions it experiences. The energy that is God is a major learning system. The possibilities are endless.

I think that there is nobody in this world who doesn't believe in "God" no matter how atheist he pretends to be. When you reach a limit when you can't sort thing out by yourself you must turn to something that is above human condition. The idea is that everyone has it's own God created by himself so there are as many interpretations of this word as there are people in this world.
Is there a God in the sense described by the various religions? I don't know. However it doesn't really matter to me because you don't need God or religion to be a good man. Common sense and the willing to help the people around you it's enough.
Do we need God and religion? Religion certainly not. If we look over our history, religion and church brought (and still do) many bad things to our world. About God... we need him because we don't have something better to put in His place.
The bottom line (in my view) don't sit and wait.. try to take life in your own hands. In fact, if there is a God I think he would like more a man who tries to explore, learn and do good an usefull things than one who is always waiting for His advice. That's why we have our minds for. Let's use them!

Think about all the many different religions in the world, from Catholicism to Hindu. Every religion has the same basic element--you have to work in order to obtain "salvation." Of course, some religion's ideals of salvation are different, from going to heaven to being reincarnated again and again until you become a god, but you still have to do something to obtain this goal.
If you read the Bible, especially the book of Romans, you'll discover one 'religion' that's different--true Christianity. Jesus Christ died to pay for your sins and all you do is believe and accept that, no works, baptism, or anything. That makes it different from every other religion.
This is one of the many reasons I believe in God.

I believe in God, he is the one and the almighty! He gave us everything. It is believed that God its created from our souls when we die, become one union into a great force, but nobody really knows that but only God himself. Nobody, not even the priests, the bible..no one, and it will never be known, only to those who died, but i believe that even they do not know. Everyone that will answer this question its only their opinion and nothing else.

Yes I believe in a Supernatural force, however you can not answer who created him otherwise your knowledge will surpass and/or equal that of Gods and that would make you god yourself. Secondly i dont believe god was created at all because if you say he was then you limit Him and we all know god is limitless...

I believe there is a force, more powerful than humans, who is kinda in charge and has the ablity to make things happen here on earth. Where did this more powerful being/force/thing come from? I dont know. Maybe it is just an infinate chain of more and more powerful beings.

Temporal concepts such as "created" have no meaning outside of the context of time. And time is quite specifically a property of this universe only.
A being that stands outside of time and this universe, as its creator (God) surely would is also outside such concepts such as "created." God is not old, nor young. God simply is - his yesterday is his tomorrow is his today. In the words of St. Augustine his existence is an "ever-present eternity." "Created" is completely inapplicable to a being outside time, as hard as it is for our minds to grasp the limited applicability of time.

I really doubt that is any of your business. Why do you even need to know that anyway? My point being... that question still is offensive to some people, even if you tell them not to be offended.
