My bedroom has ants!!! Three different kinds to be exact. They are coming from a tree by my window outside. What do you think is the best kind of ant killer? Please help.

I read an article recently that said good old "409" will kill ants. Spray them with it and they will die. Also planting mint outside your window will help, ants don't like mint.

Must be the yr for ants,we had them by the hundreds! After alot of research and failed attempts to rid the nasty things,we finally came across something that worked. Cucumber peelings! Yep im serious lol... i put cucumber peelings around the tree that we seen the most ants in and some in behind flowerbeds,havent seen an ant in our house in 2 weeks and very few in our yard.They also suggest cutting back branches that may be touching ur house. :)

TERRO, They make this syrup stuff and you just drop a tiny little dot of it anywhere, it tastes sweet to the ants so they take it back to their nest and within a few days they're gone!!! It's the best! It's the only one I've found that kills the nest and doesn't just attract them and then trap them!
