Societies have determined that the males are more expendable. Women (wombmen) are needed for offspring production.

The historical social roles for males usually included Warrior. Wimpy ego in a warrior usually gives a dead man. The best warriors survived. In general, these were the ones with the strongest egos.

In today's society, some would say that the competition in corporations has replaced the battle field. Others would say that it is time to learn to control the male ego in favor of co-operation.

not all guys have egos. the ones that do, don't necessarily think they're great. Some guys present themselves as being tough because they want to fit in or don't want to be picked on. Other guys present themselves as shy and laid back and turn out the exact opposite when they need to be. Not everything is as it seems darlin.

guyz have ego cuz.. they think theyr gr8, powerful (as u kno.. this race always wants to be the rulers.. they wanna show dat they ar gr8, da da da.)
they feel lyk they ar alpha, and the omega..
well grlz have egoz too..
