The BBC hasn't banned the songs. It got splash headlines in a paper and sold more copies - then as is the way of the world, when they were found out they dropped the subject.

If songs are not being played it is on a quality threshold.

Because the BBC is a bunch of upper middle class snobbish idiots who look down on the people who pay their wages.

I do agree however that most football songs are pretty crap, but hey people are buying them, and those people pay for the BBC.

They haven't banned English football songs...it wasn't true. I heard someone make an announcement on the news saying that it wasn't true.

As far I know they have NOT. I wish the ****** sport would be taken off our screens and out of the newspapers altogether. I HATE it with passion.
