Finally a question I can answer proudly.
Guys nostrils are alligned in a way that the mucus go out of the nose easily and automatically if left for a long time.
Girls nostrils are alligned in a way that the mucus are swallowed automatically and hard to get out through the nose. When sleeping, the girls nose tend to be blocked due to accumulation of mucus because the position of sleeping makes the mucus hard to be automatically swallowed. So normally they'd have to open their mouth and breathe through it.
