What are the benefits to an individual from being a Notary Public in terms of carrer, resume and increased income perhaps.
How does one become Notary Public.

Being a notary certainly helps as far as a resume is concerned. Almost every business has a need for a notary at one time or another, so it is convenient to have one on staff. As far as earnings are concerned, think of it as a part-time side job... you probably will not retire on your notary earnings, but you should be able to make some extra cash in your free time.

You can go to www.notaryclasses.com and get more info on becoming a notary. That's where i did my notary class. also became certified to do loan signings. very competetive business!

There isn't a great deal of benefits of becoming a Notary. Most of the time you are one because of your job..law,banking or title Co.You need to take a small state exam and you can be one in most states.
