I've never played neopets myself, but I have played runescape. I don't see why there would be anything weird with that. I mean, if you enjoy it, then there's no reason to stop playing either of those games.

What is weird is all up to perspective. If you enjoy playing those games, then who cares what anyone else thinks.
What I think is weird is people who dont spend any time with games/entertainment.
