mostly walls
and not so many posters, we had actual album covers to hang up, they were awesome.

Posters were hung on both wall and door, ceiling, in the closet... And a lot of times people people even put them in simple black frames, because some posters were immediate collectors items, like the psychedelic ones. You don't need to be old to figure that out either just look around on the net.

NO WEAR Don't do it in the walls and , on the doors. Nail holes and tape are hard to repair and very expensive. The place will never look the same with repaires.
