Dallas in 6

Here's the thing. If you look at the stat sheet for this season, I'm supposed to pick Dallas mavericks because 5 players average in double figures for this team with Dirk leading the way with 28 a game. On the other hand, if you look at the Heat's line-up, with the exception of Wade and Haslem, this team is a championship team when they were in their prime. Most of this players were franchise players from their old teams so you cannot count their heart out even if they have aged a bit. But like what I said, Miami without Wade and Haslem is already capable of winning a championship, so with them in the mix pretty much sums up my answer. Its the MIAMI HEAT who will emerge as the NBA CHAMPs this year because of this 2 guys. Nobody can guard D.Wade and U. Haslem can make life miserable for Dirk. These 2 things plus Miami's Veterans equals another ring for Shaq and the first ones for GP, Walker, ZO, D Wade and Company.

HEAT in 6 and Dwayne Wade is MVP

Miami in 6, because the Heat have all the Momentum going into the finals after just beating the best overall team in the NBA. If the Pistons could not stop the Heat O how do the Mavs expect to? I love Dirk and I think Avery Johnson is great but the Heat will win it in 6.

Dallas...Miami is a great team but not deep enough or fast enough...They have Shaq which cold present a problem but no more of a problem than Duncan...and Dallas just got through shutting down Nash so Wade isnt going to be a serious issue and who can stop Dirk? and Howard? and Dallas depth can simply wear the Heat down...Run and Gun Baby!!!!

I think Dallas will win, but I think it will go seven games. I must admit, I'm a big Spurs fan, love Avery Johnson, and long ago was a Mavericks fan as well. If it weren't for Avery I might be pulling for Miami. Back in the 1980s and '90s, when I was a Mavericks fan, they didn't have the COURTESY to be good. Shows you the difference between a good owner like Mark Cuban versus Donald Carter.

(I wonder if they are still financing Roy Tarpley's cocaine habit?)

Seeing how I am from Dallas you know I will say the Mavs, but here is why. No one can stop Dallas' offense on a consistent basis. Our defense is much improved (something Don Nelson never understood was needed). And the heck of it is, we are too fast for Shaq and the Heat. I say we take 'em in 5. I am looking forward to Thursday nights game and hope to be there.

Dallas in 6. Dirk is to versitile and quick for a slow and aging Shaq and Jason Terry can slow down (but cant stop) Dwayne Wade.

They are going to game 7 no doubt but I do believe Miami might win it though.
