(1) No. Although you could use a guy like Lopez on your team, your pitching would take too much of a hit. You would lose more than you would gain.
(2) Main issue is your outfield. Not a very strong outfield by any stretch of the mind. The rest of your team is pretty good.
(3) Not the best replacement player i could think of, but i would still take him over bonds. Bonds is getting too old, and is only a matter of time before he bites the big one.
(4) No. Otsuka is to remain closer, possibly for the rest of the season for the Rangers. Cordero may only see spot action here and there as a closer.
(5) Although Johnson has loss both of his last two starts, i would still stick with Johnson. Johnson hasnt given up more than 3 runs in his last 8 starts. He just plays for a weak offense team. He has a better K/IP ratio, ERA, and WHIP. Wandy tends to walk a lot of guys.

1. YOU DO NOT NEED A 2B OR A SS! Try to get a CL with him. I just moved Kazmir myself. He is not going to be any better this year than he is. Try to send an email to everyone in your league letting them know that he is on the block & that you will be looking for a CL or the best possible player in return.
2.Middle infield is weak doesn't have any power nor speed. What you do have is average. Alou is just coming off the DL so he will improve your power numbers. That brings me to 3.
3. DO NOT DROP BONDS FOR WILLIE! Bond's potential is way to high. And he is just beginning to heat up. Be patient
4.NO Otsuka is the closer for the Rangers. Check out the depth chart for the Rangers.
5. I like Jo Johnson. He has a good K/BB ratio. That's strikeout to walks. When looking for a pitcher look for someone with at least 2x's the K's to BB. Compare Rodrigues' with Johnson and look at their era. If you drop anyone I'd drop T. Armas.

1. dont trade kazmir you need the pitching. 2. you have too many offensive players on the bench and not enough SP. 3 and 4. i would drop bonds and pick up Wandy - he had a couple of rough starts lately but had a great game yesterday. Johnson can only help your team with his good ERA and he will win a decent amount of games. Also look for Sele or Jer. Weaver - both pitching well with great ERAs. You could also look to trade Bonds or Iguchi for a decent SP. good luck!

1. How do you feel about Ben Sheets? IF you think he will shine then go for it. Otherwise your pitching isnt close to good enough to take that risk.
2. Your pitching is good but I dont like Johnson. I think you could trade Johnson and someone on your bench for a decent OF. Colon is coming back soon and he is a beast!
3. Use Bonds as trade bait. I have like 10 teams and Bonds isnt available in any of the free agencies. I might use him in a trade with Johnson for a solid pitcher or outfielder but dont get in over your head.
4. Yes he is
5. Definetely drop Johnson for Rodriguez

pick up w rodriguez and no cordero is not the closer for the rangers, is tavares a n everyday player for the astros, if he go ahead if not hold onto bonds and as far as making a trade for lopez of cincy for kazmir, do you need stolen bases as thats the only significant stat lopez brings to the game, kazmir brings innings and wins, strikeouts. is lopez a significant upgrade for you over renteria? is kazmir a significant upgrade for the other manager in the pitching dept?? if so you are trading at least 3 categories for one k's innings & wins vs sb's

No don't trade Kaz. Where would you play Lopez? Belliad is hitting better lately and Rent-a-Wreck is having an awesome year.

be certain you might have no less than two Closers earlier than sending Putz. I could without doubt take this deal. Schmidt is now gambling in pitcher-pleasant Dodger Stadium. Putz, then again, is gambling in Seattle........ Take Schmidt. There'll be no less than two groups with nearer issues come June.
