wages are always on an hourly basis, such as repair work, or newspaper business, but salary is for the month/year and gives satisfaction that you have the job, and money coming. in wages, what if the employer does not want to keep you for the next day??

yes, there is a minimum wage level in each country but there is no minimum level when it comes to salary. if you receive wages for your work, you are not entitled to 401K and other regular employee benefits.
