Did you know that Knoebel's is the ONLY free admission amusement park in the COUNTRY? It has plenty of shade there because it's located in the mountains and is very woodsy which is AWESOME....they have the ONLY haunted house for the whole state that is actually scary and the food and drinks are REALLY, REALLY cheap and extremely tasty. I love that place!

I love knoebels! My family goes there a lot! they have good prices and great food! The rides are awesome and the pizza, ice cream, perogies are to die for! I love knoebels. Their games are really easy to win too!

Knoebels is not the only free admission amusement park in the country. There are others like Morey's Piers (Wildwood, NJ) and Conneaut Lake Park (Conneaut Lake, PA) for example. Its important to note that while the park may not charge for admission, the rides are not free. A POP (Pay-One-Price) wristband or tickets are required for the attractions.
If you happen to be in this part of Pennsylvania then Knoebels is well worth the visit. It's an affordable trip for a family and it's one of the best traditional amusement parks in the country. They have two exceptional wooden roller coasters (Phoenix and Twister) in addition to a number of flat rides and as mentioned the Haunted House. Also, worth mentioning is the variety and quality of the food. Knoebels pizza should not be missed.
