Sometimes, I end up deleting my answer because at that point, it is useless.

yes i have had that happen a few times it makes it harder to answer ?s but it kinda cool that there are people out there thinking the same.

Yes. Especially if I have taken time to fully answer a question, but someone else put up a one word answer then went back and changed it, just to ensure that their answer was first.
