My fiance and I are not planning on having children until we are married, but last monday (May 29th) we had an "accident". My fiance accidentally did not pull out during intercourse, somthing that has never happend before. The next day I figured out that that particular day was my most fertile day according to my 25 day cycle. Ofcourse I started to freak out and went out and bought a 3 test pack of First Response. Only about 3 days (June 1st) after this "accident" I tested myself and the test was negative. I waited until yesterday (June 5th) and tested myself again, and it was negative also. My question is...could I still be testing too early to get a positive result? What are the chances that I could be pregnant from just that one accident? I really don't want to mention this to my friends of family until I am positive that I am pregnant. How long should I wait to test again? FYI, my last period started on May 18th. Thanks for your help.

The most accurate time to test would be for you to wait at least until June 18th which would be approximately when you are due to get your next period. Pregnancy test use the hormone hcg to detect pregnancy. Right now (if you had got pregnant from this "accident") you would not be far enough along in your pregnancy to detect this hormone. That is why you need to wait until the date you are due for your next period has come and gone. Even then there are times when the hormone level is not high enough to detect. I WAS pregnant and my period was late by 10 days and 2 pregnancy test should negative. It was not until 14 days after my missed period that it finally showed positive. You must give it time. The chances that you could be pregnant from that one accident are pretty good. I'm sure you have heard the saying "it only takes one time".

Go to the Doc and get a blood test to know for sure.I'd say your chances are 50/50 of being preg. Be more careful.
I did home preg tests with my first child, they came back negative when infact I was 6 weeks pregnant. I only trust the blood test at the Doctors office.

I did see some thing approximately this had been a lady had intercourse with 2 exceptional guys nevertheless it used to be in the course of her ovulation interval and he or she grew to become pregnant with fraternal twins. When she did paternity checking out to uncover out who the daddy used to be is after they learned that each and every youngster had another father. Now I do not feel that is your case on account that you had been already pregnant whilst you had intercourse and technically while you're pregnant you do not ovulate. Plus at 4 months into your being pregnant your cervix is closed as a consequence no sperm can get in there. So yeah please watch out and shield your self from STD's.

Honey, you could still be pregnant, not likely, but possibly. Check again in a week or so.
And don't rely on the pull-out method. He could leak some stuff before the actual orgasm without knowing. It's taking a big chance to do it that way.

yeah i agree with the first answer, i think you should take a test in a week and if that says no then that will give you the answer better, altho its not really too early to get a post result you should wait just one more week

try waiting to test until 5 days before your next period, to get the best results. but you really have to relax, stress will delay your period and if you are pregnant its not good for the baby.
