Bring them something that is from you town or city that would remind them of you. What I did one time when I went to visit is I gave everyone a different postcard from my city. That way they could actually see what things looked like where I live in the United States. You could also buy things in the Duty Free shops at the airports. Most Polish people like to drink, so you could pick up a couple of those sampler whiskey or other alcohol packs and instead of giving the whole box to 1 person, break it up and just give them a "sample".

Money!Poles appreciate american name brand clothes depunds on to who you want to give the presents to...by the way don't bring a big mac they have Mcdonalds over here.
Don't give them the american flag...poles don't carry their flag,so forget about the american flag!
You can buy some original and unique jewelry,but like i said people there(or here because i'm living in Poland) appreciate things that they will use such as clothes and name brand clothes even more becuase one american name brand shirt can cost them their whole pay check or even leave them short of money
Like i said earlier poles like things that they will be able to use that isn't know or available or popular in poland (even cutlery knives)

In your place, I would choose something that later will remind them of me.
My oppinion: a gift is a gift. What really counts is to be offered from your heart.
It is important to be selected according to receiver's age and taste (if they are your friends, you know better).

Bring something that partly represents your native country...don't bring polish wine to poles! I'm guessing you're american...a Bigmac? I know they love ipods, my friends got jacked on the train to prague
