My messages are frequently being blocked by spam filters and I rarely get messages back that they were blocked, I can't figure out how to get delisted.
A year or two ago my address was spoofed by a spammer and I got bunches of error messages on three different days when the spoof messages went out in mass. It hasn't happened since then. Could that have caused this? Isn't there some place I can register my address as valid and get scrubbed from the filters?

It's not the exclusively the user's spam preferences, it is Norton-symantec antispam and a myriad of other corporate solutions, I'm not making it to the spam directories of my intended recipients. Thanks for the tips

You can't keep other peoples' spam filters from deleting your messages. If it was possible to do that, all the spammers would do it and then there would be no use in having spam filters. All you can do is tell the people you e-mail that they need to put your address in their address book. That way the filter will recognize you as a valid sender.

FYI_ If you send out mass e-mails, (like sending jokes to all your friends), many spam filters will see that there are a ton of addressees and delete your message as spam.

What I do with spam I contact them by clicking at the bottom of the page that was sent where it say's opt-out. If you have a lot of spam you are going to have to do a lot of work to delete them.

To do this a lot easyer, just copy and past your email address in the opt-out box so that you will not have to keep typing it.
GOOD LUCK!

Really the only thing you can do is contact the people you're sending email to and ask them to take you off their list of spam messages
