With a little research, creating a web site should be fairly simple. I found some book titles that are relevant:

* Make Your Small Business Web Site Work: Easy Answers to Content, Navigation, and Design
by John Heartfield
* Small Websites, Great Results by Doug Addison
* The Complete E-Commerce Book: Design, Build, and Maintain a Successful Web-Based Business by Janice Reynolds
* Six-Week Start-Up: A Step-By-Step Program for Starting Your Business, Making Money, and Achieving Your Goals! by Rhonda Abrams

I also posted a couple free articles.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Tina is more right than wrong. Knowing HTML is a must if you want more than one of the cheapie looking sites.

However, there are programs you can buy such as Namo Webeditor that translates what you want into HTML code. I have two websites up using it and I know very little HTML.

The beauty of such a program is that you can click over to see the HTML and learn by observing. Or not at all if you don't feel like it.

No because you have to know about html codes. You can not have little computer skills to be able to know about that. You have to have at least some knowledge of html.

Yes, it can be as easy as saving a Word document as html. I'm not saying it would be pretty, but it can be used to get a page up that provides information.

Yes, use Yahoo! (Geocities) - they have templates on there where you just fill in your own info. You don't have to know codes or really anything at all. It'll be pretty simple looking, but at least you can have one.
