Normally. At eighteen, or sixteen etc it's the second night as the dude shows some respect to his new girl. When we reach about 30 you'll have a hard job keeping the woman off you on the first night. I had to tell my wife [that's what she is now] that I just wasn't ready for that. Wow, what a change, eh? She grabbed me by the b*lls in the middle of a packed bar. We were nearly sober. No kiddin.- watch them girls, they eat us for breakfast.

Really depends on the people and what they are after. Some do it right away, some wait a few dates, others wait until they are committed to each other, others until they are married.

I made a guy wait for a year then I broke up with him before we could go any farther.
