You can buy Beer in any part of India at any convinient wine shop. But in India there is a minimum age limit of 21 years.

Yes but in Gujarat you are not permitted to buy and drink without a licence and that was the state where we went so when we got back to Mumbai we had a Kinfisher beer which did not touch the sides.

The main thing is that you should have money, but you cannot drink openly on streets.

just beer? u can buy wine, whisky, rum, vodka, gin,..... whatever u wish.
Only one state in India i.e. Gujarat has prohibition on sale of alcohol.. rest of India ..no problem.
