yes and yes n yes!......football fans around the globe want to watch he plays.....the world cup is going to be more interesting with rooney on the field.... watching him doing his skill.....plus he will play a great match( the match that viewers will find it more exciting to watch) because he just cure ....remember, rooney had also been in this same situation before....and when he first appearent after the recovery ( i think it was MANU vs portsmouth).....he scores hat-trick....do you remember that?,,,don't you want to watch it happen again!,,,,i know i do

of course he should play! but only if he is fit! GOD bless wayne rooney his has all the passion i love it when people piss him off gives him the edge to score! but i don't think he should push himself if he aint ready, then don't play but he will coz he has passion come on he's english 4 gods sake he wants to bring the trophey home!!!

Thats up to him ,if he feels fit enough.I think a lot of the other players must be getting fed up with all the attention that is focus on him.I feel that they have enough talent without relieing on one player.
