Iraqi people are very brave for refusing to have their country occupied under the name of democracy. Democracy would not label people who are fighting for their freedom as terrorists. In response to Rachel 1B, Taylor and fscarberry; the Iraqi people are not terrorists, their country has been invaded, their families and friends have been imprisoned, abused, tortured and treated inhumanely by their occupiers and yet the people fighting all this are labeled as being terrorists.
As for fscarberry's statement that middle eastern people are uncivilized and fighting for stupid or no reasons, if you refer to history, then you would know that these "uncivilized" people are only fighting to take back what has been stolen from them; their land, freedom and dignity.
Finally, the people that wrongly invade and occupy other people's lands are the terrorists. Please refer to the dictionary to define and understand the meaning of "terrorist".

Iraqis are some of the most complex people that I've ever met. There's a definite distinction between the classes. Those that are educated have certain beliefs and are more likley to be open to opinion, criticism and change. The older generations have a more sensible approach to life, thinking about the short term. The uneducated youth are more prone to pick up the views of the insurgency, unhappy with life now and not thinking about the future.

I have a few Iraqi friends, and they are all really sincere individuals. Their country is going through some really hard times right now and these friends of mine are so strong. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like when it's not so hostile there.

I honestly think that most middle eastern countries are uncivilized. People have been fighting hundreds of years for really stupid reasons. Im not saying they are stupid, they just need to catch up with everyone else.
