Usually it's your isp blocking port 25 for all users.

You see, with all of the garbage and stuff online, PC's often become zombies, sending spam and viiri. These are most often home pcs. By blocking Port 25, they block a lot of that stuff coming from their network which reduces activity, problems, and less spam reports have to be investigated.

Yahoo!'s server is probably blocked for your ISP.

The solution? Find out your ISP'S smtp server (ex. mail.isp.net) and then, using your email account with your ISP, make it your SMTP server. I have several gmail accounts as well as others and they all go through my ISP's server without problems.

Yes it makes sense. If you are using the SMTP protocol, then port 25 needs to be 'available', or unblocked.

It seems like you have done the preliminary checks (firewall etc). Try the information in this link ( from yahoo, which says what to do if port 25 is 'blocked' )

the two yahoo and google mail are being blocked. the blunders message reads; "The IP handle has been blocked with the aid of a spike in adverse digital mail statistics." as quickly as an IP handle is on the blocked checklist, it heavily isn't bumped off. i attempted utilising the webmail for my website (no longer yahoo or google) and became ultimately waiting to get with the aid of. i think of. No bounce messages yet.
