once people start treating another human being as an "it" and ignore their feelings, opnions, ways of being and dont respect them as human beings anymore by labeling them or objectifying them then u get evil that is what evil is.. senseless cruelty but denying a persons right to think and feel and be what they want and to remember they are a human being...
power goes to peoples heads..
this happens all the time and it sucks for example soldiers see other soldiers not as human beings anymore but as something to extinguish, people who are put in nursing homes and treated like crap, people who are in mental hospitals are are subjected to treatment (no-one is actually not in control of their own minds to think otherwise is to turn the person into a "it"), people who beat up their children, human trafickers, people who are racist turn the other person into an it worthy of crap just cz they are of a different colour and bcz they like to feel superior, men who rape etc.

Have you read "And one flew over the cuckoo's nest"? Good book, and it's about this. I agree, this is stupid, but it must be in our human nature since we all have a tendency to act this way, I even notice it in myself. It's just something to fight against.

sometimes we objectify other human beings because we ourselves have been objectified. and by objectified i mean that we have felt as though others view us as less than what we r, to them we r still human beings but they also c us as an inferior human to themselves. some may feel as if their wealth or social status or anything of the sort makes them more important than the rest of us who lead a more humble life as do others who feel that their dress determines what kind of person they r. to me thats just bogus. people objectify others because they feel that they r more important and insucceptible to lifes tragedies but everyone can fall victim to a sickness as can we all fall victim to a broken heart. this alone should b enough to prove that we r all equals but to many that is not enough. they may believe that the fairness of their skin makes them better than those of a darker complection or the country u come from determines ur social standing as does ur wealth but all these things may fade away but what remains will b the human essence. the inexplicable fact that we r all the same. my blood runs red as does urs, i have a soul as do u, my body works to keep me alive as does urs, we r all the same. we r all human beings. the things that cause us to objectify others r simple fads and common misconceptions that have come to b based on the acceptable things dictated by a society that has lost all moral standings and meaning. to b truly human we must accept all others as we want to b accepted.we will no longer objectify others once we have accpeted that every individual is unique and no two people r the same.

it is a soldier's job to kill people - if he cannot kill (when this is required) he is hardly a soldier.

we treat other people whom we consider like ourselves well, and other people who we consider different badly.
