sex.. as in distinction between genders or intercourse. what exactly are you referring to??
i will take both.
first the gender..
a girl and boy can be friends best friends. i have seen several such cases..
now the second case. if sex is in anyway coming in between friendship, then it is not true friendship, it has turned to lust from either side..
but i think you are referring to the first case..
true friendship can evolve irrespective of the gender... girls and boys can be best friends. infact even married and settled people from different genders can be best friends.
and i don't really need to tell you what is TRUE friendship. helping your friend selflessly, feeling happy when he is happy, feeling sad when he is sad. sharing both your best and worst moments with him.infact experiencing them..
much more to it. some of which i am yet to experience

True friendship is loving someone no matter what faults they may have. Being there for one another in a time of need. No matter how long you and your friend are apart we you see eachother again you should be able to pick up where you left off the last time you spoke or saw eachother. If you're sleeping with someone I think they are more than a friend. If you are a Woman and a Man tells you that friends have sex I can tell you that's just an excuse to sleep with you and other people too.

True friendship is when 2 or more people care a lot about each other. They will do anything to help the other out no matter what the consequences are. They are there for one another thru thick and thin. Generally true friendships don't involve sex.

Hard to define, but possible to find. Just keep your senses alert and be ready to encouter it.
True friendship is always a combination of giving and taking, and the more often it is giving without questions and without any expectation of a return. The returns will come by themself in good time. And it is well worth waiting for them.
And to your second question: No, it has nothing to do with sex. In fact, a sexual relationship can often blight or even destroy a true friendship or prevent one from developing.

True friendship for me is a state shared by two through ups and downs...Understanding and acceptance are i guess the two most important thing that would make this state- friendship a better place to live....

Not necessarily. You can be a true friend, without the sex. Those types of friendships(no sex) usually are longer lasting.

what does sex have to do with friendship. Friendship is true if that person sticks by your side, isn't afraid to tell you the truth, and someone you can just be yourself and have fun with.

no it is nothing ralated to sex. True friendship is when two people are willing to do anything for another person and everytime the other person is in a problem a true friend would always stick with him/her through all the hardships.

tru friendship has nuffin 2 do wiv sex. a tru frend is sum1 who will listen 2 u wen u need, pik u up wen ur dwn, put u in ur place wen ur being a dik & b the 1st person u think of wen sumthin/sum1 major has come in2 ur life.
