It is real, and it's been proven. Politics may try to use it so people will vote in their favor when they say "we will ensure this will be taken care of" but FACT is not enough is being done and it's resulting in the ice caps melting causing more flooding and eventually, after all the water has melted (granted this will be in a few thousand years) the earth will dry up and we will all burn.

I just had this discussion with a relative yesterday...I totally believe it is real! There are more greenhouse gases in the atmosphere today than ever before in history. Unfortunately, it is too late to stop the warming of our planet all we can do is try to reduce the amount of warming that may occur in the future. However, many people do not realize how far in the future that the change will occur. Carbon Dioxide stays in our atmosphere for 100 years so the global warming we are currently experiencing is the result of industrialization from a century ago. Carbon Dioxide is not the only greenhouse gas and is not the soul cause of global warming but it does show how human activities can affect our Earth long after the initial action.

it is totally real.

Global warming has to do with some chemicals, such as carbon dioxide. These chemicals go up in the air, and creates "The Greenhouse Effect", where chemicals cause a "blanket" that traps some incoming heat from the Sun. This may melt the polar ice caps, causing ocean water level to rise. Temparatures may also increase by about 1-2 degrees Fahrenheit.

May the Force Be with you.

very real, fossil fuel needs to go! Sorry to say but cars have to change to lessen the blow. Global warming will not go away, we are too late for that. But for a minute, imagine yourself living in a world that is 100% humidity year round. Thats my guesstimate of whats going to happen in next 100 years.

Politicians are sure to prefer to tell the people you all live in a extremely comfortable and free world under my reign and you all can do anything you like, including spoil the environment just to get richer.

It is a fact. In the last 100 years the average temperature rose around 0.5 celsius degrees. However, we don’t know the reason for it. It may be a natural phenomon, but probably pollution contributed too.

Of course its real and there are many things rpoving it. Ask the polar bears who are all dying because the ice they walk on is melting and they are stuck on small ice-islands with no food and no means to leave because the sea is not frozen as it should be...and thats just one small example from the nature world....

Global warming is real. The question is, "Is it manmade or part of a natural cycle?" But if it is natural, is it ok to make it worse?
