Take wax paper, put in on the gum, turn the skirt inside out, iron your skirt, the gum will stick to the wax paper and you can pull it out. You can even try your blow-dryier if its powerfull enough. I have heard many people use peanut butter as well. I have also tried putting AJAX on the gum and scrapping it off with a towel and hot water. IT worked on a nice silky shirt.

rub an ice cube over the stuck on gum till the gum hardens, or put the garment in the freezer for a bit till the gum hardens. Then you can lift it off.

Buy a can of compressed air. Turn it upside down, spray the gum. It will freeze and you can peel it off. Drycleaning tip!
