Every year we get thousands of baby toads hopping in our grass, we catch some and take them to a local pond because of all the construction around here. What should I feed them for the couple of days befor their release? Will black ants do?

Toads don't live in ponds... frogs do. Toads eat insects and slugs in the garden.

Ussually they prefer baby endomorphs if served before sunrise. Not to many however, as the baby toads will morph at an amazing rate and possibly overtake the entire region.
