Flush it down the toilet. Whatever it might be, it may be old, contaminated from the location where it was "found", or ineffective or simply not good for you.

Just flush it and be done.

I checked drugs.com pill identification wizard, if it is a round white pill with 54 on top and 339 on bottom and the other side is scored, it may be prednisone

Not sure, but you can call poison control (look for it in your phone book) and they will know what it is!

If you think it may not be expired, call or visit the pharmacist. They can tell you what it is......hopefully it's not something illegal
