Out of all the other names to chose from....why gay?

Out of most peoples opinions around me, as gay means something pleasent, it actually used to express the unhappy and unpleasent thing they are doing, to denote abnormal activity they are doing most people called them in that way.

well gay means happy so i am guessing it because gay men seem to be so gay (happy) all the time with the hands and the smiles and just there genral way of acting. most non gay men do not act like that.

gay = happy gay ppl are happier than most str8 ppl and ppl like to be around happy ppl...would you rather hang with a bunch of str8 guys on a saturday afternoon or a bunch of gay guys ona saturday afternoon...even going clubbing...gay ppl know how to have fun...they dont care what ppl say they are just going to enjoy themselves

dont know since gay really means happy. maybe homosexuals are supposed to be happier than heterosexuals.
