I always get these two groups confused, it's either Foreigner or Journey..."I want to know what love is".
I've had so many people who didn't really love me in my life and this song came on the radio one night and the words just went straight to my heart and soul. I've heard the song many times before, but something about that particular time in my life, the words really hit home. I knew I'd be more careful, not settle and respect myself on a much higher level so I would get the love I deserved.

Elton John's "The One" and 1991 duet of "Dont let the sun go down on me" with George Michael both inspired me to learn piano.
Today I am very good at it and still enjoy playing those songs in addition to hundreds of others.
Now I consider "Your Song" and "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word" to be Elton's greatest songs for piano....they need no other accompaniment.

None "changed" my life - but probably the song that has had the greatest emotional impact on me has been "Heart of Gold" by Neil Young.

keep on singing my song- christina aguilera
this song is very personal for christina... in the lyrics it is said people always wanted her to be like that and like this.. so she end up being unhappy... but she didnt like it, so she breakaway with all the standards of the world and be herself... also.. she didnt just find herself in this song but also her faith...
i can very well relate to this song... and i know alot will.. there are standards in this world that sometimes we tend to be fake to ourself.. and then at night all we can do is to cry and keep everything we feel inside... but we will always come to the point that we will breakdown.. and will set ourself free... and this is what this song all about!

Jesus walks by Kanye West. And I'm not even a Christian. I just like the powerful message it sends, and I love Kanye.
