yes it can. If you were drinking before you found out you were pregnant that shouldn't be a problem but if you have found out that you are pregnant you should stop drinking now until baby is delivered and you are done breast feeding.
Best of Luck

Depends on how far along you are, but more importantly, what and how much you're drinking.
If you want to have a glass of wine or beer with dinner, no, chances are your baby will be fine. If you want to go out on Friday night and drink a fifth of rum, yes...it could potentially hurt your baby. Best probably to just stay away from it altogether though... Wouldn't you rather be safe than sorry?
And to the poster who said alcohol will give your baby Downs Syndrome...you're a dumb @ss. DS is a genetic condition and is NOT caused by alcohol. You need to check your sources before posting such a ridiculous answer and scaring this woman half to death. You're just ignorant.
Occasional (VERY occasional) mild alcohol (beer or wine) hasn't shown to have any adverse effects on a healthy, normal pregnancy.

Depends on what you are drinking. If you are drinking alcholic beverages you could be giving your child "Down's Syndrome" or other mental birth defects. Best wait the 9 months to drink again.

Doctors agree there's damage caused by alcohol drunk during pregnancy - including IQ damage. Anecdotally, doctors describe even facial features being affected by alcohol, with babies of alcoholic mothers having a certain 'look.'
