This question was not meant to offend the pro-lifers. Its merely hypothetical. Honestly though, I dont think you should be allowed to have a kid that you can not support. For example, if you have five kids and your already collecting welfare, you should not be allowed to have another kid. It would be for the good of society. Also, you should not be allowed to have a kid untill you are a legal adult. Because if you think about it, a parent has control of their kid untill they turn 18, but if a 15 year old has a kid the kid has control over that kid, but the grandparent doesn't. Too confusing. But it would also benefit society. Also, if the parents are drug addicts they should not be allowed to reproduce. Tell me what you think! I know some people are going to be really mean to me! BTW I know this probably would never ever be legal in the US.

No, that is taking things a bit to far, I do not believe the government ought to be involved in a personal, moral, decision of any kind. While it is a problem that needs to be addressed I do not believe that mandatory abortions is the answer. I think they do that in China to control the population and I don't think I want to lower this country to that level.

That is like asking, " If a husband and wife have 9 children, and can only afford to raise 4, should 5 of them be killed?"
After all, the 3 year old can not survive on its own outside the womb.

If we say that it is a woman's body and she should have a choice (as I believe) then she should also have the choice to have as many kids as she wants. Money or no money. I know many who do not need more children and are not even good mothers but then where do we separate the this issue. Choice is choice.

first. we are not a commie society like china, so we would not ever have this law. second, its called adoption. if you arent willing to adopt and you cant support the baby, dont have unprotected sex
