Heres my true life story.
I worked hard, made a a good living and decent money through my business in the USA, sold it, invested in the stock market and still do investing and I took a early retirement just before I turned 35. I moved to Mexico where I now live (cheaper cost of living) full time and am retired. (maybe not full time retired because I do reserch and do stock trading daily for about 1 hour). I am happy, young, healthy and very active. I am also very educated and enjoy life. I dont use drugs, dont smoke, am a light drinker and I go where I want to and when I want, do what I want to. I am also very financially secure. When people ask or find out that I dont do any work I am always asked what i am running away from or hiding from or always though to be into something shady such as a drug dealer, a past crook, hiding from the law etc etc. Why dont people belive that I am retired why is someone retireing at 35 so much frowned upon.

By the way, you never said anything about your plans to survive the second phase retirement. What i mean by second phase retirement is when you've over the age of 60 and you need to see doctor every now and then, and better yet, you need to fill prescribed medications. I hope there really is not flaws in your plan. Perhaps there are many other aspect of life that you're overlooking. Just a thought!!!

When I was studying Corporate Finance in graduate school, my professor tried to explain signalling theory to us. When asked why companies have to take a costly action to signal their strength, he told us a story. He asked us -- "If you go to your high school reunion, and there are two guys there telling you how rich they are, will you believe the one who says "I'm really rich -- here, look at my company's financial statements!" or will you believe the one who says "I'm really rich -- here, have a thousand dollars!"?

If you want people to believe you -- fork over the cash.

It's easier to believe fiction than the truth. Congratulations on your success.
