Let's look at the facts, shall we?

Bush led a coalition force of over 30 nations, authorized by UN resolutions to use military force, if necessary, to force Iraq into compliance with the UN-brokered ceasefire from the previous Gulf War.

Iraq's continued non-compliance and belligerence and their support of terrorists was a just cause for invasion by the coalition forces. Resulting in the liberation of 25,000,000 people from a despotic bloody tyrant, and the re-establishment of democratic government in Iraq.

It's hard to see where any reasonable person would find any support that this makes Bush a 'war criminal'.

The term 'war criminal' has a very specific definition, and it does not apply to the Iraq situation in the least.

If the US abided by international law, and the principles the US established to try Nazi "war criminals," George Bush and every senior policy maker, including generals, should be on trial for "war crimes" against the Iraqi people.

Initiating a war of aggression is the ultimate "war crime" and eliminating wars of aggression was the primary reason the UN was invented by the US.

George Bush is a "war criminal" under the rules established by the US in 1945.

The only thing I think he would be tried on is the torture that the CIA has been accused of committing. However, I do not think this will ever happen as the Bush Administration are pros at CYA.

Isn't amazing how some people can't give an answer without insulting your intelligence for asking a simple question on peoples' opinions? I guess the world is full of insecure neo-cons.

This sounds like your average Zogby poll question.

Bush will be hailed as a champion of democracy. If not for Reagan (and Thatcher and John Paul II, amoung others), we would still have the USSR. Bush will be the Reagan for the Middle East.

yes, I think he should be arrested and sent to the ICC like Milosovic. The fact is, Bush has broken up to 750 laws, read more with the link. He's also broken many international laws including UN charters. It's illegal to invade another country, and that's what Bush did. He is no different than Saddam Hussein invading Kuwait. It is the job of the American citizen to question his government. Those who are willing to give up their freedom for peace (i.e. PATRIOT act) deserve neither freedom nor peace.

You are an idiot!!!!!!!!!!! They came over HERE went to our flight schools to learn how to fly OUR planes ONLY to hijack them with innocent citizens (woman, men and children), and fly them into important selected buildings with MORE innocent citizens (woman, men & children). OBVIOUSLY murder was their intention from the begining when they came over here from Iraq. So it was planned out and YOU SAY PRESIDENT BUSH IS AT FAULT? Idiots like you make the rest of of sick and embarrassed that you are even a part of our great country. Bush didn't ask them to come over here and kill our people. But the burden of the issue has fallen on his shoulders and he has done one heck of a job. What would you have done about it Mr. Intelligent? You see the sarcassim right?

As much as I HATE Bush, I don't think he directly ordered any civilian massacres (unless there's something I don't know about) so I don't think he is a war criminal. However, I do think he should be kicked out of office.

Vietnam was more than a little worse than Iraq. Maybe should go back and start prosecuting any politicians that were responsible for that. No of course not. Most Iraqi people are grateful for us helping them.

most retarded question ever it is not a crime to declare war. and it isn't like Bush said we're going to war whether congress likes it or not. he had to have their support too. so maybe everyone should stop bitching about the war and just support it since griping won't change anything! we voted him into office I choose to stand by our leader whether I agree with his decisions or not!
