go to the hospital and the have a strip that they use to test wheither it's your water or just urine.because sometimes it is just a dripple before the puddle.(it feels the same as peeing yourself) but if it is you need to make sure because you have 24 hours after your water breaks to have the baby to reduce the chance on infection.Congrats and good luck

You should contact the Midwife or Doctor if you suspect your waters may have broken.
As you will be ready for delivery soon afterwards .

You will usualy have some regular contractions beforehand . and maybe a pinkish, jelly like show .

sometimes when the sac around the baby breaks ,you only get a slight trickle, as the babys head is low down (like a cork ). so only a small trickle is noticed (not very obvious .

Usualy the waters will come out in a rush (as if you have wet yourself and some !)

Good luck , :)
let us know ,when the new little person arrives

It feels like you have lost control of your bladder, only it doesn't stop. Have you ever been going to the bathroom, and then stop on purpose? Try that, if it doesn't stop, your water broke. Also, when your water breaks, it's more of a clear water, not yellowish. Also, it's not always one big "gush" sometimes it's just a trickle that doesn't stop. Hope this has helped. Great luck to you and Congratulations!!

Either you will get soaked or if it is only a tear, you may just leak a little. If you are leaking, you need to call your doctor. He will want you to come in and check to see if it's amniotic fluid. If it is, they wont wait too long until they plan to induce you due to risk of infection.

I had two pregancies and my water never broke with the first prior to labor and with the second, I had a high tear with little leaking. Not everyone's water breaks.

You WILL know when it happenes. Unless it is just leaking a little it might be a little more difficult to determine. the hospital or doctor could tell you for sure. they have theese strips that turn a certain color when it has broken.

Involuntarily seeping of water through you underwear - like have a period - only it is clear liquid. You really can't control it. Your tummy will look a bit smaller after the water breaks. There is no mistaking it.

You will know because the fluid will be warm and there will be alot of it.

I have had my hind waters break as well and that is more like a trickle or that you have wet yourself slightly.

well there would either be a rush of water, or a non-stop trickle. My friend at first thought she was peeing but soon realized it wasn't going to stop. call your DR if you are unsure. Best of Luck
