I've been using Mary Kay Products since I was 15. I get more compliments on my skin! Good coverage.....The eye shadows I always apply with a wet brush that way it stays better. The lipsticks I apply with a brush. They last longer and you can "use" that extra inch of lipstick down in the tube you otherwise could not get to!

My makeup bag encompasses a bunch of different brands, but I like
Victoria's Secret for eyeshadow and liner
Laura Gellar for powder foundation (makes my oily skin look less oily)
Clinique for Blush and lip gloss
MaryKay for blush and light pink eyeshadow
Benefit Cosmetics for foundation and eye primer (makes powder foundation and shadow stay on), AND mascara (badgal lash...it's awesome!)
Bath & Body Works (Goldie and mentha-lip shine #1137) and pretty much anything else glossy for the lips

I have used everything from L'oreal to Mary Kay. Everything from grocery store makeup counters to Saks and Neiman Marcus. I have finally discovered it's not so much the makeup. It's your skins condition. I am now using Patricia Wexler, MD products to help my skin be in perfect makeup condition.

it has to do with your skin type. there are make-up companies which look better on certain skin types. ask a beauty therapist.
i use max factor and eva garden, but i am still no satisfied and will try others. be careful, don't put many different types on your face. Sometimes they don't work together. good luck ;)

I love MAC because it stays on the whole day I love that because i have particularly oily skin so it is nice to know that i don't have to reapply it during the course of the day.
