i replaced all the brake lines becuse they were leaking.i bled out the system.it was fine in the shop .i took it for a test ride and the brakes pedal felt good then the car stated to slow down.the brake pedal is very hard and right at the top the brake won't release

on GM ABS cars you also have to bleed that block that all the lines terminate into. Complicated process GM techs get paid like 4 hours to do it.

Then you have a bigger problem than the brake lines. Check out the calipers to make sure they are not sticking, and check the main valve on your hydrolic line to make sure it is releasing fluid correctly.

Sounds like either a master cylinder or a power/hydroboost problem.
I hope you trust your mechanic.
