We have a 16 month old but i think i'm ready for another child. Is it too soon?

You never know for sure. Our 2nd child was a surprise and came 18 months after our first. I was really nervous about the children being close in age. It has turned out to be a wonderful blessing! They are best friends.

It is simply up to you and your instincts. Personally, I waited to get pregnant until my son was almost 3. During this pregnancy, my son has been potty trained with complete success, and is very independant. He understands what is going to happen (at least he seems to!) I have no fear of having this new baby around, because my little boy is at an age where he remembers what we've talked about and I've been coaching him on how things will change "The baby will cry alot, and he can't play right away" "Can we share these baby toys with him when he's old enough?" "Sometimes Mommy won't be able to play because the baby may need fed/changed/burped/" I am sure that you will make the right decision for you and your family. :) But if it were me, I'd wait a little more.

No not at all....Do you want your kids to grow up together? If so its a good idea to start now. Anyway some people have their second weeks after their first, others years. Everyone is different, if you and your partner are ready, I say go for it!!!

If the finances and time are right for you then go for it there is no set time to prepare to have a 2nd child. It all depends on you and husband.

first you got to know if you are ready and if your partner is ready that way you both will know for sure if you two are ready for another

Wait another three months, then start up. Unless you are incredibly fertile, it will take a while.

ya its very soon, for every child there must me minimum gap of 3 years.
