Ladies, I would like to hear your preferences on bra's if you are heavy chested. I am 38 DD and finding a good fit is really hard. I 've tired platex and they are my favorite so far, but really looking for something better and more comfortable. Wide shoulder bands with the gel in them sounds great, and I'm hoping someone will offer me a link or a brand that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Thanks!

Hiya!
I'm the same size as yourself, and like you, find it difficult to get bra's that meeting all the criteria of a good bra :)
Personally i use AVON bra's from the catalogue as these are designed for the larger busted women.
Hope this helps.

You know, shapewear or sports bras might be a wonderful alternative for you. Body by Victoria's Secret, or Spanx is an example of shapewear. It's like, totally structured, comfortable, energizing, and flattering to wear shapewear these days. That stuff makes your clothes fit you so much better, people would think you've been working out or something.

I'm a small framed person, but my bust is the largest thing on my body, it being 34D. It's nice to wear little lacy strappy bras sometimes, but in real, everyday life, those kinds of bras aren't practical for me, because I'm so active and I like to be comfortable. I mean, it's not like I can just go without, right? So I wear sports bras or those tank-tops they're making these days with the bras built in? Those are great for wearing to work under a button down shirt, blazer, or a cardigan.

Since I don't know where you are inquiring from, I can't offer you any direct links to any retail sites even though I am adduming that you are in the US...

What I can do, however, is link you to a site which does a great deal of catalog business if there isn't a store in your area for whatever reason, and you can browse through their solutions for busty bosoms... If you're looking for long-line bras, be sure to see what's available in their bridal section too. Sometimes there are good finds in the bridal shop! And, you can see what they have to offer concerning any shapewear issues you may have... And, if you still are unable to find what it is you're looking for, just message me or email me, and I'll be glad to help you find what you're looking for.

Victoria's secret costs alot so i would think fruit of the loom or hanes i also would even try just going to target or walmart and look there they have good deals and cute designs and you can buy them in packs of 3 or individually and get matching undies! good luck and have fun with it!

P.S-sprot bras are not good for yoy to wear all the time.

I know this is hard I used to be a 44L and had surgery in 2000. The best thing to do is go and try on bra's finding one that fits the way that you want it to fit. The price is a hard thing, but your size is not way out there. My teenager is a 44DDD and we still find bras she likes at K-Mart, Jones, Wal-Mart, Gordman's

I am a 42 DD, and I love, love love my Breezies bras from QVC...I have always despised wearing bras, but with breezies - they keep you cool, and most of the time, I dont even feel the bra when I am wearing it...
