All American states are democratic. Some have democratically elected Republican leaders and others have democratically elected Democrat leaders.

Sorry for all those that thumped on you. The electoral college is still in place, because without it the politicians would just concentrate on the states with the highest populations. Gore would have won the 2000 election if he had won in his home state. Personally I wish both parties would offer some one with vision. Both parties have had such individuals JFK & Reagan are 2 that have been elected.

Both parties are more to the liberal side than JFK if you look at his anaugral address. Ask not what your country can do for you ask what you can do for your country. What one can do in this country is get a good education. Then go out and do something with your life. Don't look at the world as though you are entitle to the good life.

In actuality none of them are. Our whole system of government is a Democratic Republic. We vote for those who represent us.

The state I live in has voted for both parties twice in the last four elections. But if you ask the majority of people here they will say they are Democrats.

You should be asking which states are republican because it is there party that runs the country. If you get rid of the electoral college, then and only then is when we will have fair elections. The electoral college college is unconstitutional. You should go by majority vote. After all Bush lost the popular vote by a 4 to 1 score and it was the supreme court that put the prick into office not the common people.

First let me apologize for using your question to address my concern over the ill advised responder trucker12543. Sir it is obvious you have differences of opinion or policies with Our President. Your opinion might receive favor with other Haters of our beloved President. Your statement that President Bush lost the election by a 4 to 1 margin was so far from the truth that it made you sound both ignorant, and spiteful. It is a fact that the democrats lost the last election. Yet it is so difficult (for some) to accept, that all sorts of distortions of the truth & conspiracies fly around like sour grapes prepared to make Vinegar tasting wine..

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands..........

Do you get it. This is a republic. The Army manual of 1939 defined democracy as mob rule.

Did you mean, "which States are now Democratic Party states"?

I spent in America 5 years and i left this ****. There are greater places on this world. There is no democracy. Everyone is controlled, but even doesn't know about it. Dollar is a tool. People are wolfs to each other. Now i leave in New Zealand and i love here, but also many other places are so great! By the way, i am hard working person, but i love work with sense.

not a single one.....america is a democratic REPUBLIC where the people elect representatives to make decisions for them. a true democracy would require any legislation to be put to up for vote by the entire population which isn't really practical with 300,000,000 people.
