I went to the doctor and they put me on birth control patch and told me that would take care of them, but I got so sick from it that I went off of it and haven't gone back since. That was about a year ago, now the pain is getting more frequent.

They can rupture causing extreme pain and sometimes bleeding that may require surgery to control. If you have numerous cysts that rupture it can lead to scarring of the ovaries and possibly infertility. Many women have cysts at some point that rupture they have some pain but associate it with pulled muscles or bad cramps. Persistent pain or chronic cysts may indicate other medical issues that need to be treated. You need to see your OBGYN and talk with him or her about cysts, treatment options and how they can affect your fertility. Women with multiple cysts should be checked out for poly cystic ovarian syndrome. there is a medication called Metformin that is very useful in treating this disorder and in many cases has restored fertility in some women.

They can:

Grow and twist (ouch, emergency!!!)
Cause you period troubles
In polycystic ovaries disease, fertility problems and no ovulation.
Or dissolve. (wouldn't be too bad)

Morale: Have a sonography done to see what is going on with the cysts.

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.

In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/ydPX4

Well
I dont have ovaries but i have had a cyst in my foot.
I had to have it removed because it got very painful........ and i would imagine a cyst on your ovaries would start to hurt pretty bad too if you didnt take care of it.
