I would hardly say I preserved my virginity. It was like asking "how long did you wait before you openned that can of tomato soup?" I didn't wait. I openned it as soon as I found a can openner.

Maybe there's a different mentality today, but when I was a teen, "virgin" more or less equaled "loser" or "square". Everyone tried to get rid of it like getting rid of acne. The sooner, the better.

Unless considering "legal" factors, age should not be a consideration for determining when one should first have sex.

Christianity and Society once held (and many ppl still believe) that virginity should be maintained until marriage. However, with the decline of our society's moral values, having sex before marriage has become common.

If confronted with the situation that would result in losing your virginity....ask yourself this question...."Do I feel completely comfortable doing this now, without fear of regretting it after wards" ???

If you are unsure of the answer....you are probably not ready....regardless of AGE.
