Its sad but a lot of people are in the same boat and for some bizarre reason stay there. If she is being rude to you simply say there is no need to be rude, I need you to tell me what you want...communication is the key and its starts with speak to me. It could be that she isn't feeling loved and she cant express what it is that's bugging her, she may be worried about something.... what ever if you want life to be better then you work at it, communicate, ask questions but most of all LISTEN...maybe she has has a **** day and just needs to let it out, not get advice just vent...then try to shift the mood by asking what she would like to do, offer her a massage but don't let your relationship just die. It may help to read the Five love languages it offers practical insights into the way people give and receive love and if you to are "different" types then maybe she isn't feeling any more loved than you.

You say that your wife "expects things done WITHOUT asking". Can you say Freudian slip?
Your wife is mad because you insist on acting like a child , then when treated like one you resent the treatment. If you actually did as much as you THINK you do, you wouldn't be in this predicament. What do you do on a regular basis? Why does your wife have to ask you to do anything? Do you lack the power of reason? You cannot figure out how to start the washing machine, change the baby when it poops, wipe the toilet when you miss? You better shape up mister, or you won't even have a wife to complain about...You big ole' baby!

Everyone isn't like her. Nor do we think like her. She needs to cut you some slack. You can only do what you know to do. You are the man of the house and you need to put her in check. Don't be afraid of her. Tell her what's on your mind. You are the man. Ok?
So put your foot down. Don't let her run you like a slave. You are not the one with the problem. She is.

If life is so unbearable with her, talk to her about it. If this is no good, then take a couple of weeks away from her, and see how she gets along without you around to do ANYTHING at all for her.

She may need medical help for this and why does she not appreciate what you are doing for her? Are you mean to her at times. You both seem to be not communicating very well and i recommend counseling for the both of you!

I hear you. My wife is like this also. Occassionally I get her to mellow out by asking why she is getting an attitude with me for no reason. I swear she treats me like I am one of her employees

I am the same way to my husband when I'm thinking about leaving him, I just don't have enough guts to just leave, so I would say she is having the same thoughts!
