Oh man, this one is tough! I have told numerous women to get out of their homes, like right now, in situations like this. I want to go and kick their heads in for what they do to their wives/girlfriends. They need to go to jail and they need to be sentenced for each case of abuse and have the prison time set up so it doesn't run concurrent. These guys need to be in there for a long time. I would also like to have the prison population know what they are in for too. I also like the idea of giving the wife free reign on the jerk before they send him away. Abuse like that or raping your spouse needs some harsh penalties. I hate them...they are bound to kill someone. Every 3 minutes in America, a woman is killed by their partner. I heard this on the news last week. It is staggering and scary. These women need to get out and seek help before it is too late. Good question!

They should be beaten like they beat the women !
You know in my country`s rules that are based on islam rules when you do something bad like beat a woman you should be beaten exactly the mase ! EYE 4 an EYE !
But i think for this case a man or woman that beat a woman or man should go to jail for 10 - 20 years !
And for sexual beats they should be in jail for 99 years !
I think a human that can beat another (man or woman) is worse that animals ! And so they should S U C K !
How ever ... did you yourself ever have been beaten by a women beater befor that ask a question like this !?

Woman beaters man beaters child beaters all of them should get the ultimate punishment and I believe if there that stupid to beat on anyone or anything then they should be beat themselves and tortured tie them to a bed and burn them with a lighter put them in a jail where they cannot leave their cell for many years at all or put them to death Abuse is wrong Lets stop this crime!!!!

Question arises who is the beater if it is a loved one then ....I think they should not be punished...well firstly they beat coz they are suffering from a disease of mental insanity they are weak in their mind.
They should be administered to mental assylum or a psychiatric treatment.
Subjected to intensity they should be given counselling by authorized practitioners to the women who are with the person whois challenged.
If they are just a part of our neighbour hood the problem can be addressed socially by supporting the person with love, though he /she is considered insane there is something bad in every one just that this person is beating women cant be left alone coz it can lead to more serious problem

Most of the answers are ignorant. I got beat by a woman and beat her back to defend myself, it doesn't help, it only worsens the problem. I'm sure most of you don't want to see battered women so stop saying an eye for an eye since women do it too. There's very jealous women out there just as there is men. The lack of thinking that goes on here is sometimes appalling. We need to all just get along.

I love eye for an eye. If a women gets beaten, that woman beater should be beaten worse and thrown in jail.
If a man rapes a woman, cut off his penis! >:)

I'm one of those eye for an eye types in this case and I think a good public flogging should persuade people from hitting one another.
