Instead of asking your son to do something that could get him into to trouble (not to mention you in jail for helping a minor purchase beer) why don't you try making some friends that are over 21 and ask them to pick the beer up for you. Or perhaps if you are attractive you could get a girlfriend, and she could pick up the beers for you. I assume you're not married, because your wife could pick up a couple of cases of beer with the grocery shopping. And if you go through 2 or 3 cases of beer every two weeks, then instead of getting your son to buy more alcohol, maybe you should teach him how to drive you to an AA meeting.

Seriously, the word dysfunctional is playing in my mind. Put some make-up on him. Cover-up, mascara, eye-liner, lipstick, blush and fix his hair up. The other guy will too busy wondering about him and won't think to card him. But I would go get your own beer and bring him along to carry it home. Doesn't there exist in your town - beer delivery??
