i was in love with this dude.. he told me he loved me back.. and he also loved this other chick that he had been seeing.. what should i do.. to keep from gettin hurt, i love him but i dont want to get my feelings hurt over some stupid stuff.. help me out here

I don't believe you can be "in love" with two people at the same time. I think it's possible to love them both, but not to be in love with them both. If you are truly in love with someone, you simply cannot feel that kind of feeling for anyone else. That is what being "in love" with someone is, as opposed to just loving them. I hope this made sense.

You do not want to get caught up in that kind of tangle.Since he is obviously involved with someone else,there is going to be a time when he will choose between the two of you,in the meantime he will keep both of you in limbo.He doesnt sound very sincere,you should walk away before it gets much worse!

This guy probably does not love either of you. He is simply telling you the things you want to hear so that he can get into your pants. If he cannot be in an exclusive relationship with you then he is wasting your time. I know it sucks, but don't get played. Let him sit at home eating ice cream, you deserve someone better.

it is impossible because if you truly, TRULY love someone there is no way you would even think about being around another person enough to fall in love w/ them, besides if you were then you probably neglected the first and arent actually still "in love" with them anymore, just membrance of it, if you are "IN LOVE" with 2 people @ the same time one or both of them is getting cheated because its not TRUE love its lust or infatuation or your just messed up!

u can love one and lust after one so its either he;s lusting after u or the other girl, tell him u dont want to be a second fiddle and move on in order not to get hurt.
