my ex and i still talk. not as much as we used to, though.

he sounds like he still cares about me. in every phonecall, he would ask about my well-being and if i have any problems whatsoever. and he always, in a subtle way, say that he misses me. he won't say the exact words but he gives me hints. the only times when he confesses how much he loves me is when i call him at a state of drunkenness.

he's far away from me. he now lives in australia for further studies. i live in indonesia. soon, i'm going to move to malaysia for univerisity. i guess you can see why we broke up. long-distance relationships could never work out for long, i suppose.

i probably shouldn't start hoping again but i still care about him. i care about him so much. i might see him again when he comes back home this july.

so... is it alright for me to pass the green light?

fact is that you and him cannot see each other too often... and both of you are still very young.. I think each of you should live your life, but always do keep in touch. then, see what happen with your life in the next few years after you both graduate. you will never know what will happen, things are happening fast at your age. not to be wasted. either of you are planning to make serious commitment soon anyway right?

Well first of all long distance relationships can work. My boyfriend and I made it work over a year. It takes a higher level of commitment and trust however if that is where your heart is you can make it work.
There is nothing worse then looking back a couple years later and thinking about that person and wondering what if. What if you would have tried. What if you would have given it a chance. What if you told him you loved him one last time?
If you have feelings for him then you need to let him know. If for nothing else then so he knows how you feel.
No one can tell you where to take your relationship from here. That is a decision that you need to make between the two of you. But it is best to find out for sure and to know whether it would work or not then to live with the regret of never knowing and maybe losing your love.

I think not because if your not together then means that it won't work but if you really like that person then ok go for it.
